Mountain Creek was laid out in the 1990s as one planned suburb between Mooloolaba and Buderim, just inside the Sunshine Motorway. That means the houses are close in age. Most are now around thirty years old, which puts them on their second or third exterior. When one street starts repainting, the rest of it usually follows.
What we watch for

Thirty-year-old render and timber trims hold paint differently, so we quote them as two systems rather than one. Original 1990s fascias and barge boards are the parts that have usually gone first. Being a few streets back from the water, the salt load is lighter here than at Kawana, so the spec doesn't need to be as heavy.
